Early Childhood Recreation (ECR)

ECR is a recreation-based program that focuses on the “building blocks” to Kindergarten readiness by providing a series of integrated learning experiences. Classes are designed to give the young child an opportunity to play and interact socially in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment, as they learn to become cooperative members of a group.

The ECR teaching staff encourages confidence and creativity, while providing age-appropriate, skill-building activities that foster learning through arts & crafts, music, language and children's literature, as well as number and letter recognition. Positive social behavior and hands-on experiences are explored daily and promoted in a developmental setting. All of the ECR classes have small teach/student ratio (2/12; 2/16; 2/18) which ensures that your child receives quality instruction and attention.
