FY10 and FY11 City Two-Year Budget
The City Council adopted budgets covering both fiscal years of 2010 and 2011 (“FY10 and FY11”). This two-year budget reflects the dramatic decrease in general fund revenues that the city has experienced over the past fiscal year, as well as the corresponding efforts the city has taken to significantly reduce general fund expenditures in response to falling revenues. The FY10 and FY11 budget is comprised of all city funds. Subsequent to the adoption of this two-year budget, the Council approved amendments, which included employee concessions, in an effort to balance the budget. In spite of these setbacks, the city is still seeking to provide appropriate service levels under challenging economic circumstances. Following are: the City Administrator’s Budget Message, Budget Schedules, FY 10 and FY 11 City of Gilroy Budget and Budget Presentations to City Council.
