| The next Coffee with the Mayor is February 25th |
The next coffee is at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers. | LEAVES, LEAVES EVERYWHERE |
| Throughout the city leaves will be picked up on your street during leaf season. Leaves are considered yard waste so they should be put into the green yard waste container and set-out on your service day. Please DO NOT sweep leaves into the storm drain. If you have more leaves or other yard wastes than can’t fit into the green yard waste toter, either put the leaves into old garbage cans or into a cardboard box. (Each MUST be labeled “yard waste” on the container). Do not use plastic bags to recycle yard wastes, including leaves. It contaminates the composting process. (They will not be picked up.) You may have, in addition to the 96-gallon green yard waste toter, up to 7 additional 32-gallon old garbage cans, boxes, or bundles (bundles are usually for branches or brush) of yard waste every week. Questions? Please call the City of Gilroy at 846-0444.
