Public Art Committee
Members of the Public Art Committee serve a four (4) year term. The Public Art Committee is comprised of seven (7) members
and works in an advisory capacity to the Arts and Culture Commission. Members are chosen for their demonstrated background
in art education or expertise in the visual arts, public art, art management, architecture and related design professions,
art history, art criticism, or arts advocacy. The P.A.C. is responsible for developing the Public Art Plan, ensuring the
quality of artwork created under the plan and developing budgets and scope of projects. The P.A.C. further helps to create
an enhanced visual environment within our city by encouraging creative collaboration, and promoting tourism and economic
vitality with public art viewed by the community, in city facilities and neighborhoods. The committee meets the 4th Wednesday
of the month at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers.
