The Engineering Division is responsible for managing public works construction
projects for the city. These projects include new construction, improvements
and renovations of public buildings, parks and recreation facilites, streets,
traffic signals, street lights, sanitary sewers, water systems and storm
systems. Public works improvement projects in excess of $35,000 are subject
to formal competitive sealed bidding.
A list of public works projects which the city is currently soliciting bids can
be obtained by clicking on Bid List. Plans and Specifications for current projects
may be reviewed and purchased through San Jose Blue. Additional information may be
obtained from the Engineering Division located at City Hall at 7351 Rosanna

Bids are opened by the Purchasing Division at City Hall located at 7351 Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, CA 95020. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Purchasing Division
until the time scheduled for the bid opening at which time the City will open and
declare the aggregate bid of each bidder. Check Bid List for project bid opening
date and time.
Bid results are generally posted within 24 hour after bids are opened and can
be obtained at Bid Results.
