Downtown Paseo Design Guidelines
Downtown Paseo Design Guidelines
The Downtown Gilroy Specific Plan (November 21, 2005) identified Paseos and
Plazas as key components of the Downtown pedestrian fabric. These guidelines
were developed to better define what a Paseo is, where Paseos may be located,
what form they should take, and what materials should be used in their
construction. The guidelines are intended to be useful for the City in
focusing potential Paseo locations, either through acquisition or private
development, and to guide the review of Paseo design. For developers and
designers, the guidelines will assist in understanding the City’s design goals
and expectations prior to submitting development applications.
