Parks & Landscape Maintenance

Parks/Landscape section personnel are responsible for planning and developing new parks, and landscaping within those parks. Parks/Landscape Section is responsible for maintaining landscaped areas, such as median islands in the downtown public right of way and throughout the City. Parks/Landscape maintains a water conservation program and provides a weed abatement program around sound walls and around City owned facilities. Parks/Landscape maintains equipment throughout the park system and City facilities.
