The Engineering Division is responsible for public works construction projects for the city. These projects include new construction, improvements and renovations of public buildings, parks and recreation facilities, streets, traffic signals, street lights, wastewater collection system, water systems and storm systems. Public works improvement projects in excess of $35,000 are subject to formal competitive sealed bidding.
Bid, Request for Proposal, and Request for Qualification Information
Bids and Proposals are received by the Purchasing Division of the Finance Department at City Hall. Sealed bids will be accepted as per the bid announcement closing time. Immediately following bid submittal, the city will open and state bid amounts and then declare the apparent low bidder.
Bid and proposals results can be obtained after 24 hours of bid opening by calling the Project Manager listed in the bid document.
