The Communication and Engagement teImage of City Hallam is dedicated to bridging the gap between the decisions of local government and the community through providing timely, engaging, and important information and, when deemed appropriate, consulting with and receiving feedback from the community.  The Communication and Engagement team uses various tools to inform residents about City services, initiatives, and programs.  They include the following:

The City of Gilroy uses a range of social media sites to inform and engage our residents wherever they are, instantaneously.  These sites allow the City to share information, images, and video with the public in a timely fashion that gives residents the ability to interact with staff by commenting and asking questions.
