Al Fresco Outdoor Dining Program
Outdoor dining is a valuable asset in our community, which is why Gilroy developed the temporary Gilroy Al Fresco outdoor dining program while we develop a more permanent program.
It’s Fast, Easy, and FREE to sign up for the program! Businesses must register their Al Fresco Program with the City of Gilroy, by completing a brief registration form. For more information, please contact cindy.mccormick@cityofgilroy.org
You can register by filling out the appropriate form below and sending the form and site plan to cindy.mccormick@cityofgilroy.org
- Outdoor Dining on Private Property
- Outdoor Dining on City Property (e.g., sidewalk or plaza)
- Outdoor Dining in Parking Stall
- Temporary Encroachment Permit
Please see our Site Plan Example since this is needed as part of your application.
Businesses wishing to use on-street parking spaces or other public spaces will also need to apply for a Temporary Encroachment Permit, but the City is here to help make this a smooth process.
