This month the City kicked off the Downtown Parking Management Plan process. This process, led by W-Trans, will include analyzing existing parking conditions, analyzing current and future parking demands, and developing parking management strategies and recommendations for Gilroy’s downtown area.
As part of the data collection process to analyze existing parking conditions downtown, you may see project and data collection team members in the downtown areas during November and December. These team members will be noting parking patterns and will be moving about in the downtown parking areas. They will have a letter from the City to verify that they are part of this parking effort.
