  1. "Vintage" Photography Exhibition

    July 5, 2019, 12:00 PM - August 10, 2019, 1:00 PM @ Morgan Hill House-Villa Mira Monte

    The Morgan Hill Photography Club, in cooperation with the Morgan Hill Historical Society, is presenting a photography exhibition at the Morgan Hill House-Villa Mira Monte, 17860 Monterey Street, Morgan Hill, beginning Friday July 5th and continuing through Saturday August 10th. This exhibit, themed “Vintage,” features 25 photographs from 11artists who interpret the meaning of “Vintage” through diverse and interesting images. The general public is invited to attend the Artists’ Reception on Friday July 5th from 6-8PM.   1. Volenteer Advocate Training

    Volunteer Advocate Training July 12, 2019, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Gilroy, CA Certified Volunteer Advocates are trained to provide support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Once certified, volunteers can lead prevention, education and outreach presentations; assist with legal advocacy and court accompaniment; provide peer support to survivors at Community Solutions’ confidential shelter; provide in-person responses for survivors in crisis. Prior experience is not required. All Volunteer Advocates must complete our 70-hour Certification Training. Our next Advocate Training will be held: July 12, 2019 – August 16, 2019, every Friday (8:30AM – 5PM) & Saturday (8AM-4PM) Applications for this training are due by June 30, 2019.
