1️⃣ As you approach the roundabout, slow down and watch for pedestrians in the crosswalk.
2️⃣ In a multi-lane approach roundabout, such as the ones on Santa Teresa Boulevard, you will need to choose a lane before entering the roundabout. To turn right, get in the right lane. To go straight or left, get in the left lane. Drivers can also make U-turns from the left lane.
3️⃣ Continue toward the roundabout and look to your left as you near the yield sign. ALL LANES yield to traffic already in the roundabout, even those making a right turn.
4️⃣ Once you see a gap in traffic, enter the circle and proceed to your exit.
5️⃣ Look for pedestrians and use your turn signal before you exit.
