The 2024 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project is beginning this month!
This year’s project includes an investment of $3.9 million to improve 58 street segments and two alley segments. Streets scheduled for improvement include segments of higher-traffic roadways, including portions of Tenth Street, Wren Avenue, Welburn Avenue, Princevalle Street, and Arroyo Circle. Also included in the project are segments of neighborhood streets, including portions of Lions Creek Drive, Bay Tree Drive, Mantelli Drive, and Springdale Street. For a full list of street segments scheduled for improvements in the 2024 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project, please visit the City of Gilroy – Pavement Rehabilitation Projects Map. Regular work hours for the project are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Exceptions include those areas near schools and high-traffic areas, which may require different working hours.
Rehabilitation work will be grouped and phased based on the type of rehabilitation method in the following order: - Concrete Work
