UPDATE: The National Weather Service is predicting overnight cold temperatures from Saturday, February 8, through Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Lows are expected to drop to the low 30s. *Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will be offering free rides to warming centers during this time.
Santa Clara County is operating several warming centers, including:
🌡️ Gilroy Library, located at 350 W 6th Street | Open Saturday, from 10 AM – 6 PM, Sunday, from 1 PM – 5 PM, and Monday, from 1 PM – 9 PM.
🌡️ Morgan Hill Library, located at 660 W Main Ave | Open Saturday, from 10 AM to 6 PM, Sunday, from 1 PM – 5 PM, and Monday from 12 PM – 9 PM. Additional warming centers can be found on the County’s website at https://emergencymanagement.sccgov.org/residents/cold-weather-safety Options for overnight sheltering in South County are also available.
