The City and the Gilroy Police Officers Association, the union that represents sworn police employees and detention services officers, have reached a tentative agreement for a three-year successor Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) covering wages, hours and working conditions. The MOU will be considered for approval by the Gilroy City Council on Monday, August 4, 2025. The “draft” updated MOU is attached below for reference.
