[ARCHIVED] Civic Center Master Plan Environmental Impact Report Available for 45-Day Review

The Civic Center Master Plan is moving forward following last year’s extensive community outreach and planning process. The City’s consultant, ELS Architecture and Urban Design, has completed the Draft Civic Center Master Plan, reflecting significant community and stakeholder input. https://www.cityofgilroy.org/DocumentCenter/View/18441/Appendix-B-Gilroy-Civic-Center-Master-Plan-Draft?bidId=

This week, the City released the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) environmental documents, including the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR), for public review and comment. The 45-day review period is now open.https://www.cityofgilroy.org/DocumentCenter/View/18444/Gilroy-Civic-Center-Master-Plan-Public-Review-Draft-EIR

After the review period, City staff and ELS will consider all comments and project alternatives before presenting the final DEIR to the City Council for a decision.
