The community is invited to a virtual meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 to review the Draft 2023-2031 Housing Element and what it means for the future of Gilroy.
Following the presentation, the public will be invited to provide feedback on the plan. Feedback from the public will included in the upcoming report to City Council and may be used to inform possible updates to the draft.

The City is currently in the process of updating the Housing Element which outlines Gilroy’s future goals, policies, and programs to help the City meet the housing needs of the community from 2023 – 2031 in line with the direction set forth by the City’s General Plan. Following the community meeting on September 27, the draft is anticipated to be presented for feedback to the City Council on 10/17 and to the Planning Commission on 10/20.
