On November 2, 2023, the City received a formal application for an Architectural and Site Review permit to demolish a single-family home, barn, and accessory structures and to allow the construction of a 113-unit single family home development including 20% affordable units and a Tentative Map application for a 113-lot subdivision on a 21.38-acre site in the Hecker Pass Special Use zoning district. The submittal cited the use of a California Government Code section informally known as the “Builder’s Remedy.” The City has provided its first review letter for the applications submitted linked below.
