The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for our area. Peak temperatures are expected to be in the mid-90s today, and highs in the high-90s on Thursday, August 21, and Friday, August 22.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow hot weather safety tips and seek relief from the heat at cooling center locations.
The Gilroy Library, located at 350 W 6th Street, will be open as a cooling center during regular business hours today, Wednesday, from 1 PM – 9 PM, and Thursday & Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM.
