Pavement Maintenance Project Update: August 8 – August 21
The 2022 Citywide Pavement Maintenance Project is officially underway with plans to improve 149 segments on 138 streets and 67 curb ramps. Work will start with curb ramp improvements, followed by pavement improvements and striping. This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year. Bi-weekly updates will be provided through the Email Express and available on the City’s website to provide progress updates and 2-week look ahead information on where crews will be located.
UPCOMING WORK: Over the next two weeks, crews will be working on curb ramp improvements within project areas on the following streets:
- Rancho Hills Drive at Ridgeway Drive
- El Caminito at Longmeadow Drive, Valbusa Drive, and Lerma Way
- Mantelli Drive at Zinnia Street and Hirasaki Avenue
- Wren Avenue at Gary Street
- El Cerrito Way at Chiesa Drive and Las Animas Court
Thank you for your patience while we work to improve the streets in our community. Please drive safely around crews and allow extra time for travel in these areas.
