The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for our area, with peak temperatures expected on Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow hot weather safety tips and seek relief from the heat at cooling center locations.
The Gilroy Library, located at 350 W 6th Street, will be open as a cooling center today, Thursday, July 13, through Sunday, July 16, during regular business hours.
