The Gilroy City Council recently approved a new Community Events Support Program, which allocates $150,000 to eligible local nonprofits to help offset City staff costs for special events held within Gilroy city limits.
The program is designed to support free, inclusive events that benefit the community. It includes clear criteria, funding considerations, and reporting requirements to ensure transparency and responsible use of public funds.
The application period is now open for events taking place between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027 (FY 2027). Apply Here
